Alex Torchio
CAH Graduate Student Fellow
Originally from Harleysville, Pennsylvania, Alex received his BA in History from Shippensburg University in May 2020. He is currently in the Applied History Graduate Program pursing his MA in Applied History with a concentration in Museum Studies. Alex serves as one of the Graduate Assistants (GA) for the History and Philosophy Department. He currently is working in his capacity as a GA on researching the history of the Southhampton Furnace for the Furnace Run Project. Alex is also interning at the Little Red Schoolhouse on Shippensburg’s’ Campus, currently researching its’ history and cataloging its’ textbook and artifact collections. Once graduated, Alex hopes to pursue a career in museums or archives.
